If you don't use that Becker Credit often they will close it on you! I reopened another Becker account. Closes it for the last time. I'm finished with Becker! Won't even enter the store ever again. I live 2 hours away, and cant visist the stroe every year. What a bunch of *** bye!

I was contacted by an area manager and he asked me what products I used to condition the furniture. I told him I used Zep leather conditioner which is a very good product.

He never called back again. I am assuming he is going to try to blame the product for ruining the furniture. I asked him if he had this problem with other customers?

He said he didn't know. Huh!

How is this for service, folks? My 3-year-old couch and reclining chair with faux leather is falling apart. All the color is wearing off--it's green--and now I can see foam!! I sent a complaint letter, and it was "returned to sender" then I called and left a message because apparently, they don't answer their phones. I treated my couch and chair with a fine leather conditioner 3 times per year, and it looks like the ghetto!

Preferred solution: I wanted it to be fixed under warranty.

User's recommendation: I don't recommend buying from Becker, especially if you find you have problems with your products and you want to receive service.

Poor quality furniture and not willing to repair at no cost

I used to buy all my furniture from Becker the last 20 years. Never again.

The dining room table began flaking just after one year even after minimal use. The customer leather couch lost its firmness almost immediately. I requested help from Becker and was told that the furniture is only warranted for 1 year but they could refer me to someone who I could pay to fix. It's been less than two years and spent near $15K to furnish the whole house.

For Becker not to invest in what they sell is a disappointment.

Buy from Macy's or Schniedermans - they have always understood the needs of their customers and followed through on what is needed to keep them. Buy from someone you can trust.

Crazy Delivery Service

I have never heard of a "so-called Delivery service like this...The delivery for the sofa was $100.00...ok...If it had to be taken into the basement, it would be $200.00. Simple...any furniture company that has a policy like this should just do business online. I didn't shop there and never would. Just a heads up for all consumers. Please don't let any company treat you with such a ridiculous delivery policy. My alert...just don't shop at places like this...you might just as well buy online if this is the best they can do.

We bought a bedroom furniture On August 18 2021 , 5 months ago, since today we dont have any news about that, why they sell furniture they dont have. Im so disappointed I dont recommend them.

I purchased a living room set back in February. The top pad of the seat cushion was defective. It shifted and a big lump in it. Somebody came out in June and said it was an ashley furniture manufacture defect. Three months later still no help. I have called numerous times in the past few months and still nothing. Had to file in small claims court to see if I can get something done. This is a terrible company.

Mattress scam

I called again and asked to speak to person who sold me the mattress. They said he no longer worked there.

They told me to follow steps to file a warranty claim. 30 minutes of measuring, taking numerous pictures, filling out questionnaire etc. Still no response.

Very unhappy with Becker Furniture. Now I’m stuck with awful mattress.

I bought a $2000 mattress at Becker Furniture. After having it only two weeks, I had permanent divets where I slept and the side felt like it collapsed while getting out of bed. Very uncomfortable also. I called the store because they have a 30 day comfort guarantee. I was asked if I purchased their mattress protector. I said I was never given that option and nothing was mentioned about needing it for warranty. I bought one at Penneys so the mattress was always protected. They said they couldnt help me and I should deal with Beautyrest directly. What a scam! And after repeatedly requesting a call from manager, I was never contacted. I will never buy anything from them again.

Difficult time trying to obtain warranty

Purchased a power reclining couch and recliner on 9/25/17 and the cushions have flattened to the point you can feel the frame work underneath. According to the paperwork from mfg cushions are warranted for five years.

Filed a claim with Becker Furniture on 5/29/20 and have yet to get any action. Repeated calls to customer service always get same response "no response from vendor". The mfg is Southern Motion. I have asked to have a supervisor contact me at least three different times and have not received a call back.

Last call they stated they were going to have their tech come out and look at issue, have not contacted me to set up appt. I have purchased several items from Becker Furniture in the past and did not expect to get treated this way.

Appears once the furniture is in your home you are on your own, no service after sale. We had also purchased a 5 year care plan which is worthless in this matter.

Just don't

Since we built a new house 7 miles from the Becker location, we bought our furniture there. The only things we still have left are our dining set and our bed and dresser, because they are wood. A loveseat, a sofa, a recliner and a bonded leather massaging recliner have all gone to the trash hauler because they have fallen apart. The upholstered furniture from Becker Furniture World is worthless.

Internet Purchase

I purchased bar stools online on 7.14.19 and received an email shortly after the purchasing stating …”An associate will contact you shortly to confirm your order. If this is outside of our normal store hours, you will receive a call the next business day.” After never receiving a call I reached out on 7.17 to speak with someone in their internet sales department, Kendra. Kendra told me the bar stools were no longer available but would see if we could special order them or find another bar stools for me. One week later she never got back to me so I reached out to her again. She explained that I could get the barstools I had purchased online but I wouldn’t get them until November and the price of the barstool doubled. She said she was going to do some digging to see other options and never got back to me. I have five times and spoke to and left messages with different people to call me back and I have gotten nothing yet. So to summarize Becker Furniture has already taken my payment of $966.32 and can’t get anyone to call me back to either give me my money back or purchase new bar stools. I have never experienced such horrible customer service and will never buy any furniture from them ever again!

Very, Very Poor Customer Service

On May 5th we ordered and paid for a new recliner chair at the Blaine location. Two days later our order was forwarded to the Purchasing Dept. in Becker for final placement of our order with the manufacturer. At the end of May I called to find out the status of our order and was told the order never got placed by the Purchasing Dept. in Becker and that the order would have to be started from scratch, meaning our chair wouldn't arrive, at the earliest, until the end of July. This prompted a call from me to the Purchasing Supervisor in Becker. Her first comment to me was "How did you get my number, who gave it to you"? Then she laid blame to a new hire in her department, not accepting the blame even though it was her department and she was ultimately responsible. She advised me that we had two choices, cancel the order and they would return our payment, or wait for the re-order and get our chair at, or near, the end of July. Our chair arrived 3 months after being ordered and paid for. It was our first and will be our LAST purchase at Becker Furniture World.

Terrible service, protection plan is a gimmick

They completely neglected to fix my recliner set although i purchased the protection plan. When i contacted Montage (3rd party protection plan) i was told someone will come out to look at my set.

Then Montage called me weeks later to say that they cancelled my service request and will be passing the request onto the becker store becausemy set was fairly new.... after long waits and several calls, someone came out a month later and mentioned that my set was missing the cushions near the base and a few items that he will order for me. It has been months now, i haven't gotten those cushions installed, i have called several times and no one followed up nor returned my call. I contacted "corporate" which was really their store in Becker MN, the manager there said she would email the proper/ responsible manager at Minnetonka location....

still months later and no on called me nor followed up about this. Terrible service!

Horrible, terrible management who could care less about customer satisfaction. It seems he didn’t care to listen to my concerns. Just kept reiterating that I’m wrong and he’s right! I AM SO MAD. I will NEVER EVER shop at Becker Furniture EVER AGAIN thanks to the pompous a****** who “works” at the Burnsville location. SO unhappy. The customer is ALWAYS wrong is their mentality there. Apparently all the negative reviews of this store are correct. Thought I’d try it out for myself. I will be contacting the BBB on this “business.” You’d think Becker would spring for a halfways decent manager with at least half an education. This manager rubbed me the wrong way from the moment we walked into the store. Fortunately, our credit card company was able to reverse the transaction as this joke of a manager refused to do a thing for messing up our order not once or twice, but three times. We didn’t even get an apology. Buyer, steer clear of this SHADY STORE and con artist “manager.”

I worked there as a service technician its like a prison

Never had lunch in a year and a half customers waited for parts for 6 months 7 jobs a day usually the people who scheduled me to do time consuming upholstery jobs in the homes had no working knowledge of each job time frame a 3hr job was given 1.5 hrs to complete. In the facility there were no low built work benchs for the men to do there jobs on, they kneeled on concrete all day bent over, no shock mats, *** toture, kept me out on calls till 9 pm nite before thanksgiving could not drive home to grand forks to see my ill mother she died her last thanksgiving was spent alone. Dexter, craig,don all great workers breaking their backs and working for low wages

Becker Furniture World values it’s employees and believes in the importance of open and honest two way communication. We are very disappointed to see comments like this in a public forum after the fact vs earlier when there would have been an opportunity to address concerns you may have had.

As a matter of fact, the concrete floor concern was recently brought to light by a current associate and havs since been improved upon with shock matts as we care about the health of our employees and their working conditions. Furthermore, we would never recommend our team skipping lunch breaks. Breaks are an important part of safety, team morale, and a legal right. We set up our work stations for safety, and productivity, but welcome the opportunity to consider new ideas.

Do not buy furniture from Becker

We had a couch in mind and got talked out of it and then we ordered a recliner to match. The delivery fees were supposed to be zero and we got charged over hundreds so by the time I was done with all of that six weeks later. The fancy couch we have, I cannot even sit in more than 3 hours after knee replacement because my back is so bad.. this is the short story so we are out 2200 and not quite sure what to do and it's been only a year on the couch and less on the recliner. Not to mention we were promised about the warranty and basically found out that is a joke
